To better support Career Development Professionals: The Canadian Career Development Foundation (CCDF) and MixtMode Consulting has launched the first-ever Pan-Canadian Career Development Professional Centre: (CDPC).
The Centre’s first priority is to develop and deliver foundational training at no cost on a re-imagined career development process.
This training course is relevant for anyone working within career and employment services, regardless of the setting in which you work or your years of experience. For the pilot sessions being held across Canada throughout Spring 2023, we encourage those newest to the field, who may not have had access to formal training in career development, to apply.
The free 30-hour course with approximately 18 hours of live facilitated instruction and 12 hours of self-directed learning will be delivered over 4 weeks.
Within each cohort, we will strive for diversity across employer-type, groups being served, and years of experience.

The Centre’s team and provincial/regional stakeholders will review each application to select candidates in as fair and equitable a way as possible. In this round of training, we have limited space so not everyone who applies will be offered a seat. Know, however, that the long-term vision for this course is to make it freely available online in perpetuity in September, 2023.
